Miami Beach based Abstract Expressionist Turo Rodon

Turo Rodon, an Abstract Expressionist from Miami Beach, is renowned for his monumental artworks. Over the past three decades, he has navigated the waterways of Miami and the Caribbean as a respected Captain, infusing his artistic vision with the rhythms of the sea.

In 2019, Rodon's installations at Art Basel Miami, featuring portrayals of Hunter Thompson and Marilyn Monroe are Dead, garnered widespread acclaim.

Beyond his artistic endeavors, Rodon has long been committed to giving back, having established an Educational Non-profit organization and collaborated with various charitable causes. Notably, his 2019 exhibition supported The Skin Cancer Foundation, a cause close to the Captain's heart.

At Art Basel and Art Walk NOBE 2021, Captain Turo Rodon unveiled his latest series, "The Lost Animals," crafted in oil on canvas embellished with 24K gold. This collection serves as a tribute to departed pets, partners, and comrades, offering a poignant exploration of loss and remembrance through his distinctive artistic lens.
